背景
With its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, on February 13, 2003, the European Union adopted Directive 2002/95/EC (download PDF). The Directive restricts and prohibits the use of various heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market from July 1, 2006.

现况
To achieve our objectives, Raritan is working with our supply chain partners to eliminate lead from our products. We are also working to adopt industry standard solutions to eliminate lead and other hazardous substances from our products.
